IMPHAL, 19 MARCH 2016: A team of members of Bharatiya Janata Party, Manipur Pradesh yesterday inspected the Barak and Makru Bridges along the Imphal-Jiribam road. The team also met Commanding Officer, Border Road Organisation, RK Garg at Noney. During the inspection, the team found many loopholes and communication gap between the BRO and Manipur govt regarding the Barak bridge. IMPHAL, 17 MARCH 2016: Prohibition imposed on crossing border gate between Moreh and Namfalong following a skirmish among the Yongchak, tree bean traders yesterday has been lifted today. An understanding was reached after a meeting between the officials of Myanmar and Manipur at the Immigration Office, Myanmar located at Gate No. 2 for one hour from 8 to 9 this morning. IMPHAL: BJP Manipur Pradesh President Thounaojam Chaoba today asserted that Sadar Hills will be upgraded to full-fledged district if BJP comes to power in the state. IMPHAL: On the last day of his two-day visit to Manipur, Union Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Science Dr Harsh Vardhan today laid the foundation stone of the Technology and Skill development Centre inside the complex of Institute of Sustainable Development (IBSD) at Takyelpat.
