Imphal, 08 August 2016 ( Evening News ) : Former Managing Editor of Tehelka and Former Editor today appeared at the Court as Prosecution Witnesses in the Sanjit Rabina case. Prosecution Witness Number 85, Former Managing Editor, Souma Chowdhury and prosecution witness Number 86, Former Editor, Tarun Jit Tejpal appeared before the Court of District and Sessions Judge, Imphal West at Cheirap Court. They informed the Court that the pictures published in their tabloid were real and not fabricated. Former Manipur Police Head Constable Thounaojam Herojit who is an accused in the alleged Sanjit Rabina fake encounter case also appeared at the court. After the hearing the prosecution witnesses, the Court ordered to hear other remaining witnesses on August 29.
