Imphal, 07 September 2020 (Evening News ) : A woman was found hanging in a suspicious manner at Bishnupur Thiyam Leikai Ward Number- 8 under Bishnupur Police in Bishnupur District around 5 this morning. The deceased woman is 25 year old, Laishram Ongbi Banita, Wife of Laishram Bisho. Upon getting the news, a police team led by Bishnupur SP Priyadharshini Laishram rushed to the site. Speaking to media, Bisho's younger sister Binoti said that her brother and Banita got married on March 18 this year. She also said that her 57 year old mother, Laishram Bimola found Banita hanging using a shawl. She was then immediately rushed to Nambol Hospital. Late Banita's maternal family have demanded the police to investigate the incident. As Bishnupur Police Station is currently under Containment zone, Nambol Police Station has lodged an FIR and investigations are underway
