Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren has announced a cash reward of 20 lakh rupees for the first assembly constituency to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. He announced the same on his Facebook page today.

It may be mentioned that altogether 6 lakh 47 thousand 632 people in Manipur have been administered COVID-19 vaccine in Manipur till yesterday evening 6PM out of which 5 lakh 63 thousand 662 people have received their first dose and 83 thousand 970 people have received their second dose. Out of the around 20 lakh eligible vaccine beneficiaries, Government aims to  vaccinate at least 75 percent by end of this year. Following which State Government launched mass COVID vaccination drive at various sites in all the assembly constituencies.

Chief Minister Biren has appealed to all the MLAs and Districts Administrations concerned to spearhead in making the COVID vaccination in their respective areas a success.
