Andro A/C MLA Thounaojam Shyamkumar, Wangoi A/C MLA Oinam Lukhoi, Konthoujam A/C MLA K. Sharat and Oinam A/C MLA I. Ibohalbi today quit the party. Imphal, 16 September 2016 : Days after Congress MLA, Y. Erabot resigned from the Manipur state assembly, 4 MLAs of Naga Peoples Front, NPF resigned from the assembly. The NPF MLAs who resigned yesterday are 47 Karong (ST) A/C MLA, Dr. V, Alexander Pao; 48-Mao (ST) A/C MLA Dikho; 41 Chandel(ST), A/C MLA, Nunghlung Victor and 44 Ukhrul (ST), A/C MLA, Samuel Risom. The Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly accepted the resignation of the 5 MLAs from their membership yesterday. The 5 constituencies now remain vacant after their resignation.
