BJP Manipur Pradesh today started Swacch Khel Mission with an aim to bring unbiased and conducive environment in the field of sports in the state.Speaking to the media persons at the residence of Kh Kanba Singh at Lamshang in connection with a marathon race to be organised by Sports Cell of BJP state unit on February 22, Co-Chairman of Vision and Documentation, Dr RK Ranjan said Manipur is well known as the powerhouse of sports in India. However, there had been many instances where unfair processes have been carried out during selection of players from the state for a tournament or championship. RK Ranjan asserted that the mission is being started in order to stop corruption and prejudice in sports. Speaking about the marathon race, RK Ranjan said the race will be held under the motto ‘Run for Anti-Corruption and Good Governance’ with the objective of making youths healthy and bringing a drug free society.
