Reckless tourists are throwing garbage at the picturesque Khoupum Waterfall at Khoupum Valley in Noney District, located around 90 kilometre from the Imphal city.
Plastics and other wastes are piling at the famous picnic spot. According to Impact news sources, picnickers are recklessly dumping plastic wastes, water bottles, beer cans etc. in and around the waterfall. Both the relevant department and village authorities have failed to keep dustbins in the area.
Timely intervention should be taken to keep the beauty of the Khoupum waterfall intact.
