Imphal, 18 November 2016 ( Evening News ) : More oil tankers and trucks carrying food and essential items are expected to arrive at Imphal this evening. Around 100 vehicles loaded with different items have already left Khatkhati for Imphal. The vehicles were escorted security personnel and a police team led by SP Tamenglong. The vehicles included 29 Petrol Tankers, 19 Diesel tankers, 18 LPG Bullet trucks and trucks with food and other essential items. Meanwhile 93 Oil Tankers, 36 LPG Bullet trucks and 150 Trucks left Imphal today. They are expected to meet the vehicles coming from Khatkhati this afternoon around 3 near the Barak. They will be then escorted by the team led by Tamenglong SP towards Jiribam.
