Imphal, 14 November 2016 ( Evening News ) : Demanding fuel for journalist in Manipur, a sit in was held today at Manipur Press Club, Major Khul. President All Manipur Working Journalist Union, Wangkhemcha Shyamjai has demanded the state Govt to announce United Naga Council (UNC) as an unlawful organisation. Placards like, No Petrol No News, We are Out of Ink, Home Department Arrange Security Patrol for Convoy, Be Responsible Government, UNC Lift Economic Blockade, etc were displayed. President of AMWJU, Wagkhemcha Shyamjai said that the indefinite economic blockade by the UNC is unjustified and he appealed the state govt to tale actions against them. The blockade has caused a lot of pain to the common man. Prices of essential commodities and other items have sky rocketed. Since there are no more petrol stock, it has caused inconveniences to the journalists in their jobs. He also said, if this trend continues, media will be unable to provide news..........
