Imphal, 22 June 2017 ( Evening News ) : Meirapaibi members of Brahmapur Thanga Mapal Lakpam Leirak staged a sit-in at Brahmapur Hariga-khong against the arrest of Aribam Rikesh (24) by a team of Imphal West Commando and demanded his release without any condition. A team of Imphal West Commando picked up Rikesh during the mid night of June 20. Wife of Rikesh, Aribam ongbi Sanaleima said Thoi Luwang (25) who is a relative from Hiyanglam Tera Pishak is a member of an underground outfit. She said Thoi has been living at their house after both his parents passed away. She alleged that police aressted Rikesh who is innocent after they could not find Thoi. She appealed for his immediate release.
