Imphal, 21 April 2017 ( Evening News ) : Works minister Thongam Biswajit today stressed the need to strengthen unity among people to achieve uniform growth and development in Manipur. The minister today inaugurated the 30th Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong General Conference cum Sports Meet at AS Khathing Memorial Ground, Tashar village in Ukhrul district. Emphasising that the role of youth in the society Biswajit said it is necessary to prepare them for a better future. He assured that the govt will strive for a developing society. Parliamentary Secretary of PHED, Leishiyo Keishing was also present at the event. The sports meet, organised by Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong and hosted by Tashar Katamnao Long, is participated by 10 units of the TKS, and will go on till April 26.
