Discussion on business development were the main focus of the 2nd day of ‘Start-up Weekend Imphal’ organised by Manipur Institute of Management Studies, MIMS. 8 teams of 6 people each with different business projects were formed on the first day of the event.
Aeroshil Nameirakpam, organiser of Start-up Weekend, said the event is being organised to provide a platform so that people can convert ideas into business.
On the second day, team members discussed their projects with experts on business development process. Bithun Bhomik, Manager of Start-up weekend South-Asia, entrepreneur Gautam Thokchom and members of MIMS faculty attended the discussion.
The event, which emphasises on the elements of business project development, is jointly organised by Dynamic Change for Dynamic Manipur, Kauffman Foundation, Google for Entrepreneurs and various organisation. The event is concluding today. Start-up Weekend will extend help in staring business to 3 teams picked by experts.
