Imphal, 17 November 2016 ( Evening News ) : 75 stranded vehicles from Sinam Khul in Chandel district were safely escorted by security forces to the valley today. The vehicles include 26 buses, 40 DI, 8 Tata Sumo and one Tata truck. The vehicles were stranded on the Imphal-Moreh National Highway 102 due to the ongoing economic blockade called by the UNC and ANSAM since Nov 1. The vehicles were escorted by a joint team of Thoubal Police Commando, Tengnoupal Police and 3rd Indian Reserve Battalion under the supervision of Additional SP Operations Thoubal Modhunimai.
