Imphal, 10 July 2016 : A police team led by Mayang Imphal Police Station SDPO M. Rameswar Singh searched the house of former convenor of JCILPS Khomdram Ratan. The police reported that the second wife of Khomdram Ratan was not at home since July 2. On the other hand JAC Singjamei refuted the police report. Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club JAC Singjamei Convenor Th. Subash said it is very unfortunate that the police searched the house of Khomdram Ratan while the people are demanding removal of the wanted tag. He said the government’s move will not distract the people’s movement. He also said sit-ins will be held in and around Singjamei on the 10th and 11th of this month, while the future course of action will be decided after the court’s ruling on the 11th of this month.
