Imphal, 14 December 2017 ( Evening News ) : The 26 Sector 12 Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) arrested one drug peddler carrying 3 thousand 9 hundred and ninety pieces of WY tablets at PVCP, Khudengthabi in Tengnoupal District , around 6 in the evening, yesterday. The arrested person is identified as Umar Mukthar, 29 yrs son of Mr Md Mukhilsh, from Moreh Ward No 5, Tengnoupal District. He was caught in posession of WY tablets worth around 19 point 95 lakh rupees hidden in cigarette packets inside a Maruti Van bearing registration No MN 01 X 9806 that he was travelling in from Moreh to Imphal while checking at PVCP, Khudengthabi. He was handed over to Moreh Police Station.
