Imphal, 25 September 2017 ( Evening News ) : Thangmeiband United Club staged a sit in against the missing of Taorem Bittoo who has been untraceable since his visit in New Delhi for his mother’s treatment today at Khoyathong Point. Taking part in the protest meet, MLA of Thangmeiband Constituency, Kh. Joykisan lambasted the BJP at the Center and Delhi government for their indifference to Manipur and other northeastern states. He termed the inability of the Delhi Government to trace Taorem Bittoo who has been missing since the 13th of this month in Delhi as being indifferent to people coming from the north east. He mocked the Center government saying if a Cow was slaughtered or lost, there would have been massive unrest. He opined that the Center values a Cow more than people from Manipur and other north eastern states. Joykisan asserted the BJP led state government should pressurise Delhi Government to trace missing Bittoo. Many elderly men and women of Thangmeiband took part in the sit- in protest. It may be recalled that Taorem Bittoo went to a hospital at Vasant Kunj, Kishan Ghar in New Delhi for his mother’s treatment on Sep, 13. He has been untraceable after he went out of the hospital to purchase some medicines around 5 in the evening. A missing Complaint has been already registered at Vasant Kunj Police Station, however he still remains untraceable
