Imphal, 11 April 2017 (Evening News ) : State remembers late Maharaja Narasingh on his 167th death anniversary. Manipur State Archaeology, Department of Art & Culture observed the ocassion at Kangla today. Rich tributes were paid at the Grave of the late Mahajara. Manipur Rifles contingent honoured the Maharaja with a gun salute. MLA P. Saratchandra and others offered tarpon at the Nungjeng pond in Kangla and prayed for the Maharaja Narasingh’s soul to rest in peace. Sankritan was also performed infront of the Uttra shanglen.
