Rasheshwori Pala, which has shown various performances at Rangoon, was felicitated today at Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai. The team left for Rangoon on October 5. The team visited Myanmar with the objective of preserving our art and culture and to integrate Manipuris staying in Myanmar. Speaking on the occasion, R K Shivachandra, President of Indo-Myanmar Fraternal Alliance said the objective of the cultural team was to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Manipur to the international community. During the tour, Rasheshwori Pala were performed at Meetei inhabited areas of Myanmar. He further said Consulate General of Myanmar will take part in the inaugural function of Sangai Festival to be held on November 21.
