Imphal, 29 August 2016 ( Evening News ): Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam today reiterated that a bill acceptable by both the hills and the valley people will be introduced in the upcoming Monsoon session of Manipur Legislative Assembly. Speaking on the 85th Death Anniversary of freedom fighter Haipou Jadonang at Haipou Jadonang Park at Keishampat, deputy chief minister Gaikhangam said to avoid withholding the bill by President as happened before, a consensus bill is needed to be prepared after thorough discussion. The state govt has the same desire to enact a law to protect the interest of the indigenous people of the state.
